Cavaco Silva and Abdul Kalam view the Presidency’s site

India’s President offered a banquet to the Cavaco Silva couple

The President of the Republic and Mrs Maria Cavaco Silva were the guests of honour at a State banquet offered by India’s President, Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Palace in New Delhi.

Both presidents made speeches at the beginning of the banquet.

At a private meeting on the occasion of the banquet the Indian Head of State made a PowerPoint presentation of the construction of the knowledge society and President Cavaco Silva presented a special page on his visit to India, which forms part of the Presidency’s Internet site, which has already been updated with photos and videos of the programme in New Delhi.
