Tribute to Ataturk
Formally initiating his State Visit to Turkey, the President of the Republic visited the Mustafá Kemal Ataturk Mausoleum, in Ankara.
After paying tribute to Ataturk and laying a wreath of flowers on his tomb, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva visited the museum which exhibits personal items and possessions of the founder of modern Turkey.
