Domestic violence discussed in Belém
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva met, in the Palace of Belém, with managers, staff members and dwellers of sheltered housing for victims of domestic violence, from all over the country.
Present at the meeting were nine women victims of domestic violence, 19 children and young progeny amongst which also two young victims, and 14 managers and staff members of sheltered housing. Present also was the Commissioner for Citizenship and Genus Equality, Dr. Elza Pais.
