President welcomed by the people of the county
The President of the Republic visited the county of Marco de Canavezes, and was welcomed in the County Hall.
The welcoming session for President Cavaco Silva was held in the Ceremonial Hall, during which the “Happy School” Protocol was signed.
The County Council awarded the President of the Republic with its Medal of Honour and with the title of Honourable Citizen of Marco de Canavezes.
During his tour of the county, the President visited the Tâmega River Park where he officially opened the Alpendurada and Matos Municipal Baths.
