Opening of the Summit Discussions
The President of the Republic was the first Head of State to address a speech in the inaugural ceremony of the XVII Iberian American Summit, immediately after that of the host, the Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, and of the Secretary General of the Iberian American Conference, Enrique Iglesias.
The Summit, which is being held in Santiago do Chile, has social cohesion as its main topic.
