President of the Republic starts State Visit to Turkey

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva arrived in Ankara on the start of a four day State Visit to the Republic of Turkey at the invitation of the Turkish President, Abdullah Gül.

In Ankara International Airport, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva was welcomed by the Minister for the Environment and Forestry, Veysel Eroglu who will escort him during the visit, as well as by civil and military personalities. President Cavaco Silva was also greeted with military courtesy ranks.
