Meeting with Ramos Horta

President of the Republic held meeting with outgoing President of East Timor, José Ramos Horta

Approximately two hours before terminating his mandate, the President of the People’s Republic of East Timor, José Ramos Horta, received the President of the Republic at a meeting in the Presidential Palace in Dili.

This meeting was one of the final official acts of Ramos Horta, and the first attended by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the country’s independence, and that later would become a State Visit.
