Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the presentation ceremony of the 13th edition of the 2012 Active Woman Prize, a trophy attributed by “Activa” magazine.

The event was held in the Pestana Palace Hotel, in Lisbon, and the 2012 Active Woman Prize was awarded by Mrs. Cavaco Silva to Margarida Martins, whose work is recognized in areas such as the combat against domestic violence, the defence of gender equality and human rights.

Mrs. Cavaco Silva addressed a speech on the occasion.
