Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended the opening ceremony of the 2010 Lisbon Boccia World Championship.

Held for the first time in Portugal, the Boccia World Championship, which is taking place from 1 to 9 June in the Lisbon University Stadium, brings together approximately 250 athletes from 35 countries and is a sports event for athletes suffering from cerebral paralysis, in which Portugal is World champion and won three medals in the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
