Mrs. Cavaco Silva presided at the opening session of the "Paradigms of Rheumatoid Arthritis" Conference, promoted by the National Association of Patients of Rheumatoid Arthritis (A.N.D.A.R.).

Prior to the Conference, the First Lady opened an exhibition on Rheumatoid Arthritis.
