The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of journalist Aurélio Márcio.

Following is the text of the message addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:

"Upon being advised of the passing away of journalist Aurélio Márcio, I address the bereaved Family my deepest condolences.

I single out the human and professional qualities that, throughout his intense career, he was able to place at the service of Portuguese sports activities. Founder of newspaper “A Bola”, he was a part of the golden generation of sports journalism.
