The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, regarding the terrorist acts occurred in Moscow.

Following is the text of the President’s message:

"Mister President,

It was with deep regret that I learnt of the tragic attempts occurred this morning, in Moscow, against defenceless citizens and which deserve our strongest condemnation and disavowal.

At this moment of suffering and mourning, I want to signal Your Excellency and the victim’s families, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, our deepest feelings of grief and solidarity.
