The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of Engineer Rui Vieira.

Following is the text of the President’s message:

“It was with great regret that I received the news of the passing away of Engineer Rui Vieira, an outstanding individuality in Madeira life.

Due to his professional activities and deep dedication to the public, Engineer Rui Vieira was deserving of the esteem and admiration of all who consorted with him.

I address my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
