Visit to the Whale Museum in New Bedford, Massachusetts: In the continuance of his visit to the North American State of Massachusetts, the President of the Republic was guided round the New Bedford Whale Museum,where he saw the "Azores", "From New Bedford We Set Sail" and "Sperm Whale" centres, as well as the "House of the Dinghies", where a whale fishing boat built by two Portuguese was shown to him.
