At the end of the programme for the first day of his visit to the Azores Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic went to the Satellite Tracking Station of the European Space Agency (ESA), in Vila do Porto, and then to the Santa Maria Oceanic Control Centre, of the Portuguese Aerial Navigation Agency (NAV).
