In the course of his visit to the Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic held a meeting, in Angra do Heroísmo, with the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, Carlos César.

The meeting took place in the Madre de Deus Manor, headquarters of the Representative of Republic for the Azores, official residence of President Cavaco Silva during his stay in Terceira Island.
