The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia upon the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Following is the text of the message from President Cavaco Silva:

“Majesty,

It was with deep regret that I received the news of the passing away of Your Majesty’s brother, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

In this hour of mourning, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, I convey our sincerest condolences and feelings of deepest sorrow to Your Majesty and to all the People of Saudi Arabia
