The President of the Republic addressed a congratulatory message to the sub-20 Roller Hockey National Team, who won the World Championship held in Colombia.

Following is the text of the message from President Cavaco Silva:

“I congratulate all the components of the sub-20 Roller Hockey National Team for the results achieved when winning the World Championship of this sport, held in Colombia.

The victory won by the Team in this final stage of the sub-20 roller Hockey World Championship is a motive of pride for its fans and for all Portuguese, since it dignifies and honours national sports.

I want to congratulate the players, the technicians and the officers of the Portuguese Skating Federation for the dedication and drive shown, wishing them all the best of sports and personal happiness.
