The President of the Republic decorated, with the grade of Commander of the Military Order of Avis, Lieutenant Colonel Diamantino Fernandes, who ceased his duties as Head of the Communications Centre of the Presidency of the Republic, to fulfil an international position within the scope of NATO.

The President of the Republic and the President of the Republic of Mozambique visited the plastic arts exhibition “Retrospective of 40 years of Mozambique independence – Mozambican artists in Portugal”, on show in the National Fine Arts Society, Lisbon.

On the occasion of the State Visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, and Mrs. Isaura Nyusi, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner, in Ajuda National Palace, in the beginning of which President Cavaco Silva and his Mozambican counterpart delivered speeches.

Concluding the campaign dedicated to Fisheries, the President of the Republic visited two canning industries, in Matosinhos and Póvoa de Varzim.

On the occasion of the campaign dedicated to Fisheries the President of the republic visited, in Ílhavo, the Materaqua aquiculture nurseries, where several types of fishes are produced, such as bream and meagre, oysters and other bivalves.
Visit to FOR-MAR, in Peniche
The President of the Republic began, in Peniche, a campaign dedicated to fisheries, with a visit to the Fisheries and Sea Professional Training Centre (FOR-MAR).
