Tourism investment in Marialva
The President of the Republic presided, in Marialva, Mêda, the Commemorative Ceremony celebrating 20 Years of Historical Portuguese Villages, where he delivered an address.
Speeches were delivered in this ceremony by the Mayor of Mêda, Anselmo Antunes de Sousa, by the Owner of the Marialva Chorus Houses, Paulo Romão, by the Chairman of the General Meeting of the Association of Historical Portuguese Villages and Mayor of Fundão, Paulo Fernandes, and by the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Historical Portuguese Villages and Mayor of Belmonte, António Pinto Dias Rocha.
Before arriving at the village, President Cavaco Silva visited the new Marialva Tourism Office and opened the Eco Friendly Spot FPA, a recent investment of the Chorus Houses.
