The President of the Republic visited, in the county of Celorico da Beira, Linhares da Beira Historical Village.

Upon arriving at Linhares da Beira Castle, President Cavaco Silva attended the performance of the Forno Musical Concertina Group, later walking round the village streets, going by the House of the Jew and visiting the new Rural Tourism Office and the Almshouse Church.
