The President of the Republic presided, in Elvas, at the Inaugural Act of the Refurbishment of Graça Fortress.

After the unveiling of the commemorative plaque, President Cavaco Silva toured the Graça Fortress, viewed an exhibition in the Magisterial Gallery and visited the Conference Chamber, the Governor’s Mansion and Magisterial Embankment.

The President of the Republic delivered an address during the commemorative session of the inaugural act of the Graça Fortress Refurbishment.
