At the beginning of the second day of the 7th Campaign on the Route to a Dynamic Economy, held in the Madeira Autonomous Region, the President of the Republic toured the IlhaPeixe aquaculture unit, a breeder of bream.

On board the Portuguese Navy frigate “Bartolomeu Dias”, President Cavaco Silva travelled from Funchal to Baia d’Abra, in the neighbourhood of Caniçal, where the aquaculture unit is installed, and landed in the port of this Madeira town.
