Beginning a State Visit to Romania the President of the Republic held a meeting, in Bucharest, with his Romanian counterpart Klaus Werner Iohannis.

After the official welcoming ceremony, in the Cotroceni Palace, the two Presidents met on their own, after a which an enlarged meeting took place comprising both countries’ delegations.

Later, the two Heads of State held a joint press conference.
