The unfolding of the official picture of the President of the Republic was held in the Palace of Belém. The painting, by artist Carlos Barahona Possolo will be exhibited, from 9 March onward, in the Picture Gallery of Former Presidents, in the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic.

In the ceremony, where the artist was present, President Cavaco Silva handed the official painting to the Director of Museum of the Presidency, Dr. Diogo Gaspar.
