Continuing the 4th Campaign of the Route to Youth, the President of the Republic met, in Cuba, with young local councillors and officers of local associations, who held a debate on the theme “Young people, civic participation and quality of life in the communities”.

Upon arrival in Cuba, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva was welcomed by groups of Alentejo traditional singers and by children and youths of the county’s schools, who sang the national anthem.

The President made an address at the end of the meeting with young local councillors and officers of local associations.
