Continuing the 2nd Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, the President of the Republic officially opened, in Unhais da Serra, Covilhã, the H2otel Termal, an innovatory hotel and spa built on the location of the former spa and included in a circuit of historic villages and of shale villages, connected to the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.

Entrepreneurial innovation is at the centre of this component of the Route, which took the President to visit the works of the Paulo de Oliveira Group, in Covilhã, a textile unit which was subject to a complete technological refurbishment of its fine fabrics and which exports more than 80% of its production.
