I was deeply affected upon receiving the news of the tragic aircraft accident occurred in the City of São Paulo.

In this hour of mourning for all the people of Brazil, and very particularly, for São Paulo, I wish to offer Your Excellency, on behalf of the people of Portugal and in my own personal name, our deepest friendship and and our most sincere condolences.
