Mr. President,

I was deeply shocked upon being told of the tragic consequences of an explosion occurred in a military magazine on the outskirts of Maputo.

In this hour of pain, I wish to convey to Your Excellency on behalf of the Portuguese people and in my own name, our feelings of deepest regret and sincere condolences, and our great solidarity for the people of Mozambique, our sister Country.
