On behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, I offer sincere condolences to the family of Artist and Professor Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos.

With a long and successful career, particularly in Engraving, Bartolomeu Cid dos Santos deserves the regard of all Portuguese for the extraordinary graphic value of his work, well known in Portugal and abroad.

In this hour of mourning, it is with great sadness that I pay tribute to a man who dedicated all his life to the Arts and to Culture.
