I was extremely pleased to learn that Pedro Lamy conquered the title of world champion at the Le Mans Series.
 
This achievement is the consolidation of the career of one of the most successful Portuguese drivers, who has brought so many victories to our country.
 
In my own personal name and in that of the people of Portugal, I congratulate Pedro Lamy for yet another victory, which gives Portugal an exalted place in motoring sports, and wish that his career continues to encounter moments of great success.
