The President of the Republic attended, in Lisbon City Hall, the celebratory ceremonies of the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic.

After being received by the Lisbon Mayor and Councillors, President Cavaco Silva raised the National Standard on the balcony of the City Hall.

At the following ceremonial session, held in the City Hall’s Main Camber, an address was delivered by the Lisbon Mayor, Dr. António Costa, after which the President of the Republic delivered a speech.
