The President of the Republic presided, in the headquarters of the Champalimaud Foundation, in Lisbon, at the award ceremony of the 2014 António Champalimaud Vision Prize, which distinguished, in this edition, seven researchers who stood out due to their work on the development of anti-angiogenic therapies, in situations of diabetic retinopathy and age related macular degeneration.
