On the second day of his official visit, the President of the Republic met, in Seoul, the President of the Republic of Korea, Park Geun-hye.

After the meeting, both Heads of State witnessed the signature of memorandums of understanding between the Governments of both countries, after which they made declarations to the media.

President Park Geun-hye later hosted a luncheon in the honour of her Portuguese counterpart and Mrs. Cavaco Silva. At the toasts, the President of the Republic addressed a speech.
