The President of the Republic travels to East Timor to attend the X Summit of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, between 22 and 24 July instant, at the invitation of his Timorese counterpart.

On 22 July President Cavaco Silva will hold a meeting with President Taur Matan Ruak. On that same day he will also attend a dinner hosted by His Excellency the President of the Republic of East Timor. The Summit will be held on 23 July.

President Cavaco Silva will also have the opportunity to contact his CPLP counterparts and other guests of the host country, as well as to visit an East Timor School of Reference.
