At the beginning of his Official Visit to Portugal, King Filipe VI held a meeting, in the Palace of Belém, with President Cavaco Silva.

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva held a brief meeting with the Spanish Sovereigns D. Felipe VI and D. Letizia, following which an enlarged meeting took place between the two Heads of State and their respective retinues.

At the end of this working meeting, both Heads of State made declarations to the media.
