President visited Monument to Indonesian National Hero

In the last official act of his State Visit to Indonesia, the President of the Republic laid a wreath on the Monument to the Indonesian National Hero.

This monument, located in Katibata Cemetery, celebrates the heroes of Indonesia’s War for Independence.

Later, President Cavaco Silva left for Jakarta Airport, where he received farewell compliments from the Ministers for Foreign Affairs and for Trade, respectively Marty M. Natalegawa and Gita Wirjawan.
