President together with Portuguese military personnel

President of the Republic visits Unit of Engineers No. 3 of the National Detached Force in the Lebanon, headquartered in the Shama region

The President of the Republic was accompanied by the Minister of National Defence and by the Chief of the Armed Forces General Staff in his visit to this unit, incorporated in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
 
During the event, the President of the Republic had the opportunity to contact the Portuguese military personnel in service there and become acquainted with their tasks, and also met with the more relevant military and civil authorities of UNIFIL.
