The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the President of the Republic of Tunisia over the victims of the terrorist outrage occurred in the Sousse tourist resort.
Following is the text of the message from President Cavaco Silva:
“Mister President,
I was deeply grieved when I received the news of the tragic and cowardly outrage perpetrated today, in Sousse, which deserves our strongest condemnation and disavowal.
In this hour of suffering and mourning, I wish to express to Your Excellency and the victims’ families, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, our feelings of deepest regret and solidarity.
