President of the Republic sent condolences to the Family of Journalist Fernando de Sousa

The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of Journalist Fernando de Sousa.

Following is the text of the message of condolences sent by President Cavaco Silva:

“Upon being advised of the passing away of Journalist Fernando de Sousa, the President of the Republic addresses the bereaved family his deepest condolences.

A media professional with a lengthy career, Fernando de Sousa was well known by the Portuguese and was much admired by his peers, and stood out due to the rigor exercised in his news reports and by the quality of his work, specifically that related with European issues.
