President of the Republic congratulated SIC upon the Emmy award for the Best International TV Novella

The President of the Republic addressed a message of congratulations to SIC TV channel upon the award of the Emmy distinction for the Best International TV Novella.

Following is the text of the message addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:

“Upon being advised that the Novella “Blood Ties”, broadcast by SIC, was the winner of the Emmy Award for the Best International TV Novella, it is my wish, on behalf of all the Portuguese and in my own personal name, to congratulate its authors, the cast and all the technical personnel for this distinction that, once more, emphasizes the Portuguese televised fiction on a worldwide basis.

Please accept my congratulations and sincere wishes for your personal and professional well being.
